Pre-Application Summary Form Guidelines

  • Before submitting the Pre-Application Summary form, please carefully review the Foundation Grant Criteria to determine if you are an eligible grant recipient.
  • You must provide a copy of your IRS Determination Letter of Ruling identifying your organization as exempt under section 501(c)(3) and exempt form Private Foundation Status under Section 509(a).  Applicants who are exempt under a Government Municipality must also provide proof to such.  The Foundation does not make loans or grant to individuals.
  • Complete all information on the form itself. We do not accept handwritten requests.
  • Do not make reference to attachments. Because of the number of requests we receive, this aids the Trustees in their review.
  • Because of the poor quality, please do not fax this form to us.
  • There is no deadline for the Pre-Application Summary. The Board of Trustees will review these forms every 4-6 weeks and you will be notified as to the results of their review. If you should receive a grant application, you will be given a deadline at that time.
  • Once you have completed the form, you may submit it either by US Mail to the address on the home page or as an attachment to email to ahf@abell-hanger.org.  Because of the lack of quality, please do not fax this form.
